Solutions to bullying
Bullying is a problem. But all problems have solutions. Try to explain to the bully how you feel when they bully you. If that doesn’t work, then inform a teacher or adult on your problem. Over 40 states have made bullying laws. Some states even give the authority to schools to deal with harassment off campus and other states can file criminal charges to bullies.
An easy way to stop bullying is to tell and adult or teacher. If you tell and adult that you are being bullied then they can help you find a solution to end your problem. Sadly, not all kids inform others that they are being bullied. It is up to the teachers and parents to step up and see the problem and help the child. Only 25% of bullied students say that a teacher intervened when they were being bullied. Yet, 71% of teachers say that they had intervened at one point. We as teachers and parents need to stand up and end bullying
Although telling an adult usually works out, it isn’t a guaranteed solution. If there is nobody to help you, then you must stand up and help yourself.
